J Wanamaker Cabinetry is a fine custom cabinetry shop founded by owner and builder James Wanamaker, a West Seattle resident dedicated to building high-quality residential cabinetry in the greater Puget Sound area.

James has been designing and building custom cabinetry since 1999. After building custom cabinetry for clients from a home woodshop, he went on to run operations for over 8 years at a well-established custom cabinet shop in the Greenwood neighborhood. In 2009 James opened J Wanamaker Cabinetry & Woodwork, now simply called J Wanamaker Cabinetry.

James takes great pride in his company’s work and enjoys personally meeting all his clients, working closely with them to design and produce cabinetry to perfectly fit their vision. While maintaining unique accessibility for each client, he also enjoys being hands-on with all aspects of the project, including milling the lumber and overseeing each and every installation.
